How to Use Big Data to Improve Healthcare Quality, Reduce Staff Turnover, and Enhance Patient Acquisition

Healthcare providers are under enormous pressure to improve quality, caregiver turnover, and safety. Social media and public health data provide the greatest and most true voice of the patients and employees. Yet, it is extremely difficult to access and utilize this data in a meaningful way. Mining this data using an actual Chicago hospital as a case study, we will show how to gain deep, specific, and evidence-based insights directly from patients, families, and caregiver staff. Using this hospital’s big data, we show how this data will result in a detailed and actionable roadmap to help this hospital improve their quality, increase safety, and reduce staff turnover. Join healthcare data experts Jim Anfield and Jeff Chien as they present this fascinating case study of this Chicago hospital and how big data can drive meaningful healthcare change.
